LUNAFEST is a traveling film festival featuring award-winning short films made by, for and about women.
Hosted by the Bud Werner Memorial Library, this nationally touring film festival is designed to benefit a local organization that serves women in the Yampa Valley community. This year, LUNAFEST benefits Young Bloods Collective, the creators of SPEAK--Performances from Women in the Yampa Valley.
The film festival kicks off at 7 p.m. This season’s program of nine films filled with stories of reflection, hope and humor will compel discussion, make you laugh, tug at your heartstrings and motivate you to make a difference in your community. Incredibly diverse in style and content, LUNAFEST is united by a common thread of exceptional storytelling.
Your $10 donation at the door supports Young Bloods Collective's efforts to improve lives of women in the Yampa Valley through SPEAK, and the Breast Cancer Prevention Partners' work nationwide.
